Ca Janine is a single-story Mediterranean villa in Jávea, restored to bring back the qualities the original construction had always possessed: rounded archways, painted pine ceiling beams, tadelakt walls, and limestone tile floors. The renovation chose what to keep as carefully as what to replace.
The kitchen uses solid oak cabinetry and stone worktops. The bathroom has dark green glazed tiles, a backlit oval mirror, and copper fittings. The bedroom keeps its plaster arch headboard niche and terracotta bedding. Outside, the pool terrace looks toward the sea. Terracotta pinecone wall lights and a gravel entry with a rounded stone staircase complete the exterior.
